The hunting season for ibex and argali is from August till December and from January till February.
We suggest the connection TURKISH AIRLINES with departure from Vienna through Istanbul to Bishkek at approx. 1 000 € depending on occupancy.
Since the arrival to Bishkek is late at night, the journey towards the hunting ground continues after lodging in a hotel the next day in the morning. The journey towards the lake Issyk Kul lasts for approx. 5 or 6 hours. By the lake, the hunters will change for a big off-the-road Ural and continue their journey directly to the hunting ground in the mountains. This stage lasts for approx. 5 or 6 hours.
According to the new Gun Law, there is no need to arrange Firearm Accompanying Letter. It suffices to fill in Report on Firearms Export at the local Firearms Registry not less than 5 days prior to the intended departure from Slovakia. Please, notify the passport control staff that you are exporting a weapon. Do not forget your hunting license.
Please, notify the passport control staff that you are exporting or importing a weapon.
The firearm has to be packed in a special suitcase; we recommend a hard-sided one to prevent any damage to the firearm. Ammunition cannot be packed in the un-checked luggage; pack it in a locked container/baggage with clothing that will be carried in the plane’s baggage compartment. We suggest taking approx. 40 pieces of ball cartridges.
Please,
remember that the checked baggage cannot exceed 20 kg and the hand
luggage 5 kg (valuable objects, camera, cine-camera, etc.).
Upon arrival, your weapon and ammunition have to be declared at the destination airport; the hunting organiser will provide help to you.
ATTENTION: Export of semiautomatic and short guns is forbidden; it may lead to complications at the Austrian airport!!

A spotting scope is a very useful optical tool, and a rangefinder should not be missing in one’s equipment. On request, all these tools or equipments can be supplied by our agency at special prices.

Organisers will strain to ensure client’s safety and take every precaution to safeguard client’s health and life, but cannot accept any responsibility for any damage to the client’s health or property, as long as these were not triggered by them (e.g. ailment, injury during hunting).
Therefore we would suggest taking out the following type of insurances:
- major medical expense insurance
- baggage and personal effects insurance that will provide coverage against loss, theft or damage to baggage
- Cancellation insurance in case you cannot start your hunting
Due to possible clients’ dissatisfaction with settling insurance claims, we neither provide for or arrange travel insurance nor accept any responsibility for client’s personal choice of an insurance company.
